winamp is the best thing that ever happened. winamp 5 is good. winamp 2.91 is old guys. i'm sorry you have crappy computers or something. but i like the slick look of newschool winamp.

Hmm ran into a snag with it. I upgraded my W3 to W5, and it said it imported my skins, but now when I try to load a modern one [the winamp 3 skins], no luck. It stays stuck on the basic ugly skin. I tried downloading some skins off their site, but no luck their either. :-(

I looked at the site again, and it clearly says "supports modern skin" Is there a setting or something I need to change? I checked the options menu, but no luck there either.

Whoops, my bad. I downloaded the LITE version instead of the FULL version of the free version [well, what do you expect, with 4 versions on the download page.. :roll:

yes, there is a setting that allows you to choose between modern and old school skins.

winamp5 gives me bsd´s whenever I start it.. Amazing, like *click* and BANG that thing gets all over the screen

I still use 2.91 because it works with HLamp. And a 2.4GHz P4 is not crappy.
