I happen to think a colony on the moon would be very useful and a nice vacation spot. :P
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

it would be really retro to have a moon base, they have been saying since the 50's that by the year 2000 we would be living on the moon :)

Going to mars is stupid. Going to the moon is a great idea.

First of all, look at it this way, there is much more real estate on the moon, and its easy to manufacture/build on the moon. There is also much more space for growing food. Now if you grow food on the moon and send it to ISS, instead of growing it on the Earth, ISS gets much more food/air/water and its much cheaper to support ISS also.
