Nvidia to voucher up Doom 3

Hate to intrude in this nice little slanging match, but I also achieved high[ish] frame rates (25-40) on a Geforce4 Ti 4600, using nVidia's latest reference drivers at the time.

On my Athlon 1800+ and GeForce 4 TI 4200, I got around 25-40 fps, dropping to 15 fps on some of the more intensive areas. It was 'optimized' of course, with the usual config edits. I need to try it again with the newer drivers, I remember it didn't work on a lot of the older Detonator versions which were new back then (44.03 or something like that).

Looks like it might be mucher faster on an NVidia. Tried it on a 9700, and I can't get anywhere near that. Played it extensievly on a 9500, and the frame rate counter even hit 0 at times.

On my 1.1GHz Athlon with Geforce4 Ti 4400, I did get frame rates above 30fps. However, once an enemy apeared, the game turn into a slide show. Probably 1 frame per second.
