Well, I have a Compaq 2140us, a nice latop for two-year old games and notetaking. If you're looking for an older one, you can get some damn fine deals at www.compgeeks.com
They have pretty good deals on older ones.
Sponge, how did you get your X1000 for only $800? I got mine for $700, but yours is obviously much better.

A buddy of mine just picked up an IBM thinkpad with 64mb ram and a P3 600mhz for 25 dollars from his dads work. I think he got a few other ones in the deal too, not as fast as the 600 though. Slick looking machine for the price:) I will find out if he is selling any of them.
