Get your facts straight fett. It's not apple's fault that you can't play aac on your rio. As I said before, AAC is not an apple exclusive format! It can be added to any mp3 player that has a user flashable ROM. It's simply a matter of if Rio wants to add AAC support. It's always funny to me how people who can't afford something always say it's "shitty". The Karma is a great device, and is better than the iPod in several areas. The iPod is by no means "shitty" however.

no, it supports gapless without crossfading. it just detects a sudden silence at the end of the tracks and removes it, and more about that issue can be read here.
