"The Apple had problems viewing streaming media."
I have Media Player OSX and MPlayer X, I can play things my Winbox can't play without trouble
"Flash files would play slow."
Noticed this too on this 700MHz G3
"The mouse has ONE BUTTON. I hate that so much!"
Plug in two button mouse.
"It was a pain to network."
Plug in cable, have internet. File sharing, Apple + K,
smb://IP address
"Everything in the OS is so 'simple' its hard to use. I just want to be able to hit start>Firefox."
Put Firefox in dock, one less click.
"It's overall performance was poor. The Powerbook wasn't any better. Heck, I don't even like how the Apple products
look."
Agreed to an extent, though I like the fact I can close the lid, and not be afraid of my batteries dieing and it overheating to the point where some plastic near the fan was brittle like my X1000.
There are plenty of reasons to dislike Apples, you barely had any.
For example, in iMovie there's no way to add a range of iles by shift clicking - you have to shift click on each one. And then in iDVD, no status on how far it is, you just have to pray it's workoing. Or on my iBook, copying/pasting links from Term Services to *anything* will freeze up both TS and whatever program. Ctrl, alt, option buttons are non-standard and in some programs one button pops up a menu while in another it does nothing.
holy internets batman.
