Well, the macs *are* better at video editing than PC's, but still, I hate em. :P
Jadam, how often does your lock up?
The longest Ive lasted on any mac is about 10 minutes.

i think its only locked up on me once, a kernel panic heh.
macs crash with OS9 not OSX :P

Yeah, 9's extermely unstable... I heard X is slightly better.

1x DVD-R? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Just burn it at home a lot faster and cheaper, then buy a cheaper, but equivalent ibook or whatever you want, without the dvd-r, and upload it on your ibook. If your friends want a copy, burn it on your regular cpu. Saves battery life and time my man 8) :lol:

There aren't many DVD-Rs that are much faster than 1x for now.
