Okay, sorry, I was gone, but here's the verdict: you MUST have windows 2000/me/xp, and you MUST have a firewire port. Period. No exceptions. I have to go out and buy a firewire port now arghh

Wish PocketPC's had firewire ports for syncing. I love using firewire with my mom's digital camera. Its so fast :)

Oh the day I will figure this machine out, I will be a happy man.

Now there's this problem: I get everything synched, yay, but now my mp3 organization make as much sense as moose's views on morality. They are all jumbled, for example, two At the Drive-In songs may be labeled At the Drive-In - Cosmonaut and One Armed Scissor (those are the song titles themselves.) One may be on the album Relationship of Command while the other has no album.

First I tried changing their info by right-clicking them and clicking properties, then changing it by hand. This evidently does not work too well. Then I tried in the retail version of Musicmatch Jukebox, and edited all of the tracks by 311. The artist name was 31, song named I'll Be Here a Whil, and the album named From Chao. One letter was truncated in each area. This problem only existed in a few songs, the rest were properly labeled. After I fixed it, some of the songs stayed fixed, some reverted. Does anyone know how the hell I get all of my mp3's organized CORRECTLY, the easy way? Is there some program that will recognize them or something? Or maybe some easy way to categorize things on the iPod?

Thanks again.

I'd organize by folders.. but since you checked the ID3 tags (I'd highly suggest looking at Tag&Rename, makes retagging all your MP3s less of a nightmare than it normally is.. I've done it before) anyway. But, that's all the help I can offer.

If the Jukebox Zen didn't use a crappy propietary protocol (which m eans you have to install their shitty trnasfer software) it would be the best MP3 player out there. $250 for 20gb, compared to $500 for 20gb.

iPod does still have the largest, prettiest screen out there though.

Musicmatch jukebox is a free program, if you get the basic version, but the plugin for the ipod is not in the primary download. All you have to do is just download the plugin...it is free and very small.
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
