RICoder,
a) Your primary question obviously wasn't that interesting.
b) Yeah, okay. "All I have said is that the platform of science that some people are standing on is not as stable as they would have you believe." Sounds like you're disputing validity right there. I know you're old, but you should still work on that short term memory.
You're welcome. I figured I'd fill you in.
My primary problem is that you elevate this faith mumbo jumbo to the level of theory. As Sandy has stated (I actually read his excellent posts... for comprehension), theories are based on things we know; faith is not. Christianity and all the other religions I've read about (not many) are false. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I BELIEVE SCIENCE IS BULLETPROOF. I appreciate the value of the word theory in its scientific context--the applicable context in this case.
I see what you're trying to do, but you're just coming off as extremely disingenuous.
James,
Where does it say in the bible that you if you act like Jesus, but don't believe, you'll go to heaven?
Caesar,
If the book tells a few lies, how do you know the rest isn't? If a person lies to me several times, I stop trusting what they say.
Trae,
You make an excellent point. I could write my own book of religion, make sure that it was self-vindicating and then tell you to prove it wrong. I doubt you would buy "well, the book is right because it tells me it's right." Who wants to kiss Hank's ass?
JCL,
I haven't tried to prove the bible wrong in this thread. It's been done in past threads, which you're more than welcome read. Here's a list of some biblical contradictions:

P.S. Yes, the sticker is stupid.
