If you like At the Drive-In, check out The Mars Volta's new CD De-Loused in the Cromatorium - I just got it today and I'm loving it.
If you're into the mainstream pop-punk/rock schtick, check out Brand New's CD Deja Entendu - it's not much like their last album (which was utterly terrible) and I'm pretty surprised I like it.
If you like just straight up good music (a la George Harrison), check out Elliot Smith's CD XO. I usually don't like that kind of music but this guy is a fuckin' genius.
For chaotic modern free-form jazz mixed with punk rock, check out the Giddy Motors' CD Make It Pop. It's something different and really good.
Tortoise's CD Standards is some great instrumental post-rock.
And as always, I cannot recommend these two bands highly enough: Modest Mouse and Radiohead. If you want their most recent (and some of their best) work, get MM's The Moon and Antarctica and Radiohead's Hail to the Thief.
So that's it for now. If you actually want to find music by these bands and can't, ask me and I'll tell you where to find them.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.
