There's a recent article... I guess the Montreal fans realized they were stupid and cheared for this more recent game.

Now can you guys show us a little respect and not boo? :)

Seriously though -- all of our armed forces are in Afganistan still :)...

"In Calgary, meanwhile, anti-war protesters were confronted by a handful of pro-American demonstrators at a rally that attracted about 3,000 people. A number of Iraqi Canadians took exception to the American flags and pro-U.S.A. signs."

Heh heh... If Canada had a Texas, and Texas was a city, Calgary would be it.

There have been several reports of Canadian disdain being shown.

I for one attribute it to the French influence...but hey...you could have guessed that.

I would have to see waves of Canadians, in person, booing hissing and burning flags for me to get pissed off. I trained with the Canadian military of several occasions...and I have a great respect for them as an ally...as much so as the Brits.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Coalition troops find "huge" chemical weapons facility, spanning 100 acres.

Link to article (states no more than I did), merely as a source:

It is a suspected chemical factory.

From the foxnews article you posted:
"U.S. Central Command [...] said it was premature to call the Najaf site a chemical weapons factory."

Yeah, a previousy undetected 100 acre chemical weapons plant just seems unlikely.

For anyone who watched the Oscar's, Michael Moore provided one of the more interesting moments of the night. He won for best documentary, here is his acceptance speech....

Michael Moore's acceptance speech
On behalf of our producers Kathleen Glynn and Michael Donovan from Canada,
I'd like to thank the Academy for this.

I have invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us, and we
would like to - they're here in solidarity with me because we like
nonfiction.

We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times.

We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a
fictitious president.

We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious
reasons.

Whether it's the fictition of duct tape or fictition of orange alerts we are
against this war, Mr. Bush.

Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you.

And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is
up.

Thank you very much.

---------
- Applause gave way to some boos, as the orchestra began playing to cue the filmmaker to leave the stage.
- Moore also implored reporters to stress that he received a standing ovation when his victory was announced, not that he was booed by some during his speech. "I saw the entire place stand up and applaud, applaud a film that talks about how we are manipulated by the fear that's put forth by the White House and put forth by corporate America to create a culture of violence. ... Don't report that there was a split decision in the hall because five people booed."

I heard a recording of it on NPR, and there were a lot more than 5 people booing... although it was pretty brave to stand up and say what you believe in front of a worldwide audience.
Careful, don't get crushed under the weight of my stupidity... the think hurts

might as well when you got the chance? ... I have the chance to murder several people every day. I don't think I'll shrug my shoulders and say "eh, might as well."

It's called discretion. It's called class. It's called taste. Mister Moore has none of these.
