There are spiders in mine constantly. I was chasing one around with a vacuum cleaner when my computer was on and it somehow managed to short out a circuit or something and cause my computer to restart! But I leave my computer's case off because the temp inside with it on is astronomical. My computer gets so hot and I have no idea why :/

Huh? Oh, no.. haha, one time, I don't know if I've said this before but, I forgot to turn my pump on before I turned my comp on and the CPU block soldering actually melted and the water and hot solder started dripping out on everything. I suddenly realized I had forgot to turn the pump on so I reach back behind there and plug it in, as stupid as I am, so the solder started spewing everywhere inside my case followed by streams of 130 degree water... Oh well :/ But no, the water cooling works great as long as I don't act dumb.

I just got my new GigaByte GA7VAX motherboard in the mail, and replaced my old dead one with it, and my computer is now back online. With the DDRRAM, I can finnally do 3D Modelling and Animation without the lag. I also did a little "case mod" Where I drilled about 100 holes in a circular pattern, and matched up a fan with it, so now my GeForce 4 and other cards will be cooler than before.
The Athlon's maximum temp is 65 degrees?! Mine must be running on the edge of the canyon, then. It runs stable at about 56 degrees.
Nawww... I thought their max temp was around 80-90 degrees... I oughta check this out.
[EDIt] I thought so... I'm not sure how reliable this info is, but here you go: http://www.heatsink-guide.com/maxtemp.htm
Oh, and James, is it possible to for you to take some pictures of your case (front, back, side in which you access the motherboard) and post them online? If so, I might be able to help you out with the the cooling. My dad helped me totally reconfigure my case, and it runs about 25 degrees (C) cooler now. Turns out my case was a piece of trash. [/EDIT]

My Athlon XP runs at 60-65, and the BIOS can shut it down from anywhere from 70 to 120 degrees celcius.

My Athlon XP 1900+ runs at 48 Degrees Celsius, I had to buy a volcano 9 heatsink for it.

Ok, it doesnt matter anyway. It would be neat to have one of those cases that tells you the temp on a little LCD screen under the floppy drive...
