Well, not really.
This is simply another defect, just like any other kind of degeneration.
I am sure gays would be offended by this sort of characterization but from the biological point of view, it cannot be considered as anything else since it is obvious that the ultimate goal of every species is to ensure its survival which means procreation - something that homosexuals are not capable of.

James/Moose - the thing you're missing a sperm bank/male donor - any fertile female with a womb can produce a baby - including lesbians - the homosexuality doesn't imply (artificial) insemination is out of the question. That the child(ren) isn't/aren't 100% biologically "the couple"'s is moot. E.g. both lesbians in a "marriage" could be inseminated; artificially or otherwise, the "marriage" produces children.

Yes, but what about male gay couples using their sperm and hiring sperm recipents? It would still be their baby.

Ya, this is great. We've got like a ... what are they called, a third member of a marriage that's only function is to help produce a child? So now it's a 'married' 'couple' of three. What about the womb/sperm donor, do they get a tax break now too?
