That is a valid statistic? How valid? Valid as in true, or valid as in your statistic that there are 80 million people in the USA? Where'd you get it?

I just find it hard to believe that the average high school student comes from a $12,000 per year income and has divorced parents and no desire for education.

Better check your definition of "statistic," because part of your statement can't even be validated.

I can't for the life of me understand why someone would want to destroy their brain for an hour or two of euphoria.

Have a look at the monkeys the next time you go to the zoo, then realize the primary difference between that monkey and you is your brain. Do you know why humans rule this planet? Is it because we're faster or stronger than any other animal? No. Our increased intelligence is what differentiates us from the rest of the animals on Earth and you want to throw that away? Unbelievable.

Here's an idea, the next time you're shopping for food to cure your pot-induced case of the munchies, buy a dozen bananas, peel one back and then look in the mirror.
