I think for its price the Dreamcast is still pretty good. I mean, you can get a Gamecube for like 30 bucks more, but it is still good. The three great things I remember about the Dreamcast were: -Built in Modem! -VMU (Now, this is just the best feature it had! The little memory card with a special display and gameboy-like controls so you could play minigames on the run? PURE GENIUS! Similar to what Nintendo does with the GBA-GCN combo nowadays, but it was so much cooler!) and of course Soul Calibur, the best fighting game ever!

IMO, the GBA/Gamecube combo holds many more possibilities. The limit of it on the Dreamcast was a horrible in-scope view with Silent Scope, and being able to pick your plays on the NFL games.

Something like the MGS codec done on the GBA would be INSANELY cool, sorta blurring the lines between game/reality, or have maps of the levels, or maybe the whole game UI if it's something like an RTS, or something else menu driven.
