Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Also, if we do it now, when the Earth gets screwed over in thousands of years, Mars will be ready for us when we need to go there. Although a mass movement of people to Mars is quite unlikely, imagine five billion people. Imagine trying to explain what a ballpoint pen (let alone spacecraft) is to the bushmen (people that live in Africa and live like cavemen).

Also, why don't we send a droid to Alpha Centauri to scout it out?
