Okay, what about email? What's the best open source Win32 email program out there? Mozilla Thunderbird is too alpha at the moment. Spam filtering doesn't work, and it crashes importing from Outlook. Otherwise it will be great when it is done this summer.

I hadn't used it before but after reading this thread I decided to take a look at it. Used it last night and I'm already hating having to use IE here at school.

Version 0.8 of Mozilla Firebird has been released. Firebird has been renamed FireFox.

Thunderbird 0.5 has been released as well, so I may give it a try again to see if they fixed some of the critical issues.

Their website is very slow at the moment (between the slashdotting and hundreds of thousands of people dowloading the new builds).

I found a really good feature in mozilla firebird : when you begin to write a link with the keyboard, it find it on the web page :) It's really nice and I don't need a mouse anymore to navigate fast :)
