Mike, I think IMHO that the red was much better.  It really catch your eyes when searching for some free games.

Lookin' smooth Mike, it's really easy on the eye, and you still get the Contrast you need.<br><br>Last bit so it's not an overkill on blue, but how about trying out a PG Yellow shade as your Title Font color in those blue bars?<br><br>

Sorry, not really possible. Thing is, the link colours are determined in an external CSS style file and apply site-wide (both for consistency and to make my life easier!). Plus, if the links are a lighter blue, they're going to be a lot less visible, especially against another shade of blue.<br><br>Personally, I have to say that I agree with RavenRay...
