I'm not insomniatic, I'm voluntarily insomniatic. I can't say enough is enough, because that's wimpy, and I have the stamina to work. I have to do my best, always, and people think I'm crazy, but I'm not, I want to be successful. Get this, today in biology, we got a tons of homework, and this girl starts crying. The teacher says "what's wrong [name]?" and she said "I just pulled 2 all-nighters in a row, this f*cking this will make that 3 days!!". The teacher laughed as if it were a joke, but it wasn't. That girl is the top ranking of our grade; in my biology Honors class, only me and her have A's. That's similar in other classes, where I'm one of the few with A's. I felt sorry for her, I've only pulled a triple all-nighter once, and thought I was going to die. Ok, you want to know how much work I get? Here's today's homework-
Algebra II - several easy worksheets
Biology - 3 term quizzes tomorrow, a major paper on cancer (which I already finished by pulling an all-nighter on Tuesday), and collection of notebooks tomorrow (I'm screwed on that)
History - 5 page paper on a "hero", notebook collection tomorrow, and quiz on something he hasn't taught us yet.
English - Two 3-5 page papers on testing and a book, major quiz tomorrow, several worksheets
French - SUPER major term test tomorrow (I MUST get a 100%!) MUST study!
This is average, does it seem like a lot to you for one day?
Paul, I don't do my homework slowly, I do it adequately, and much faster than most people.
Davinci, yes, people waste their lives, especially people that don't see any of the world. I was talking with someone yesterday, and mentioned that I went to Japan, and he said "why? do you speak Japanese? Do you have relatives there?" and I said "no, it was a vacation", and he said "why? what's the point of going to Japan? There's nothing there". That's the typical answer here. I remember in Japan, we were in a temple, and we went over to sign the guestbook, and saw other people that came there. 75% were from Germany, France, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, or England. Others were from South Africa, South Korea, Australia, Israel, China, Norway, Sweden, etc. We were the only Americans that went there within 6 months (there were many many pages of people on the guestbook). I don't understand why Americans don't travel. I hate those people that have never even left their state!! I was in Nova Scotia, Canada last year, and we met these people from Arizona on the ferry; they were in their 50s and it was the first time they've ever gone out of Arizona!! In French class, people are always saying it's too dangerous to travel. What idiots. My French teacher (whose Egyptian-Australian-American with a French/Italian accent, it's a long story...), always yells at people when they say the whole world is poor except the US. Ugh. And I'm wasting too much time writing this post!! So for more information on Japan, please visit the "Nippon!" thread in this forum.
