Uhh Warren, the parts where you have to replace it? Those are grammar, not subjective. Or am I thinking of ACT? Plus most of the questions, there is only one clear right answer. It's not as subjective as you make it out to be.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

No no no, not THOSE questions, sandmann. The questions regarding the stories. They're ALL subjective. Like "Why did Susy decide to eat the basketball?" ... There's no "Because she's f'n screwed up in the head," or "this story is so f'n ridiculous it doesn't matter," option!!! AGH!

I believe I finally found myself a role model, the first in my life. Dr. John Esposito.

I don't know if you'd call him a "role model," but he's really cool. He talked for 6 hours straight on Islam, their culture, their political system, their feelings towards America, at my college. He used NO notes. He was so incredibly intelligent, knowledgable, and intellectual. He was just ... 'inspiring' ! That's it. He's my inspiration model :D

Why can't I find a college with kids that like that kind of thing, too. All the other kids there were bored and didn't even understand what he was talking about. They got it SO wrong talking about it afterwards. Just about the opposite of what he was trying to say. argh :/

This seemed like a good a thread as any to post this:

Teaching Math in 1950:
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price.
What is his profit?

Teaching Math in 1960:
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80.
What is his profit?

Teaching Math in 1970:
A logger exchanges a set "L" of lumber for a set "M" of money. The cardinality of set "M" is 100. Each element is worth one dollar. Make 100 dots representing the elements of the set "M." The set "C", the cost of production contains 20 fewer points than set "M." Represent the set "C" as a subset of set "M" and answer the following question: What is the cardinality of the set "P" of profits?

Teaching Math in 1980:
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20.
Your assignment: Underline the number 20.

Teaching Math in 1990:
By cutting down beautiful forest trees, the logger makes $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the forest birds and squirrels "feel" as the logger cut down the trees? There are no wrong answers.

Teaching Math in 2002:
A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $120. How does Arthur Andersen determine that his profit margin is $60?
