I think his point (rightfully) was that many criticized America for going to war for oil, while in reality France was in it for the oil more than us.

There's a difference between going to war because of oil and abstaining from war because of oil.

Yeah, maybe if they weren't such pussies they'd start wars for oil more often.

The point is we AREN'T going to war for oil, and while many accused us of being in it (however so) for the oil, they turned their backs on France's decision which was blatantly based on oil interest.

What about Bush breaking these rules of war in Afghanistan? I missed that. And Bush isn't having problems invoking the Geneva conference rules of war, Saddam is having problems keeping them, just like 12 years ago. This is like a replay in fast foreward.

But I was watching MSNBC or CNN or one of those last night when they were dropping off the humanitarian aide and all the Iraqis were running up there grabbing their big boxes of stuff but this one guy was bouncing around yelling "Saddam! Saddam! Saddam!" The reporters go over to him and ask him why he's yelling for Saddam. The guy says, "If Saddam sees me on TV with the Americans he'll kill my wife and children." ... HAHAHA! Saddam is a psycho! And now he's got the Iraqi army in American uniforms!
