I just ignore Paul's posts. None of them contain anything worth replying to.

Yeah, I'm right behind 'em.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.

IMHO, women and the army don't mix well. It's just easier if you have a group of men only, as opposed to a mixed group. Especially in situations like a submarine, or out on patrol somewhere or other. I'd rather have a man by my side then a woman. Sorry girls, no offense, that's just the way I am. Now, if women really want to be in the army, I won't stop them, but they should be measured by the same standards as men. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the service! I want the best of the best protecting my country, and not someone who just got there through "positive discrimination" or double standards.

Now, I want to balance that by saying that women are actually better at certain tasks then men; like flying combat aircraft. Because of their build, women are actually much better at withstanding higher G's then men. Also, because of the type of enviroment and the work they do, women as fighter pilots would work out very well, as opposed to female grunts.

I must agree with that. However, women usually have problems with aiming... [I'm sure I messed the syntax ;]]

yes, but there have been many studies that show that women cant make on the fly descisions as quickly, and dont react as quickly to stress. They could be fighter pilots maybe, but not ground combat soldiers. They could also work in staff positions, or military intelligence.
Careful, don't get crushed under the weight of my stupidity... the think hurts
