Yeah, but a 900mhz Pentium three just sounds awfully pugly compared to the pentium 4 2.6ghz processors that are in the laptops now.

No, it's more like a 900MHz Pentium3 ULV in speed. Not that much different in actual performance, but loading applications is slower. Once they're loaded it's snappy as can be.

k see, i don't think a laptop or a pocket pc is a hinderence to my daily life. Thats why i'm saying they are pointless. If you think a laptop "holds you back from connecting with the teacher, and annoys students" then you must go to a shitty school. I know for a fact that almost anyone on this forum types faster than they can write, and if you're writing on your tablet aren't you smudging the scren... or do you hold your hand above the screen the entire time? I couldn't do that, and plainly i don't want to.. Yes it'd be nice to draw on, uh... but you don't do autocad moose you're a college student, and for some reason i doubt you are an architecture major. Do you draw well, i don't think you do that either. So what are you going to use it for... writing notes. Why not use paper, its like $.20 a pad, and much less cumbersome. I can carry a pad of paper shoved in my pocket. Shove a tablet pc in your pocket... I can pocket my ppc and keyboard, shove the tablet in your pocket. You say its for everyday life, but its still the size of a laptop. THe only difference between them and a laptop is you can write on the screen. Woopty fucking doo.
