Style and build are why you pay the extremely CHEAP price of $20,000 for a new MINI. That's about the cheapest you can get a car these days. Expensive is $40k and up. 'Your Day Job is Obviously Not Paying for This' point is hit when you purchase a $230,000 automobile. But anything below $30k is CHEAP. You need to get this straight, Mech. If a hoed up Civic does it for you then all the better, you'll have more money in the end. It's your choice. I just think it's worth it to get a new car.

I agree, the Mini is one ugly car. Post all the pictures you want, I'm never going near one in my life. And I honestly thinking that, as much as I love to egg on fanboys.

I'm getting a new car come May, and I'm looking at a VW. I want a Passat really bad, but I'll probably end up with a Jetta as they're cheaper. So I guess I'm down with the family sedans too.

Jettas? Yeah, those are awesome. Doesn't reliability kinda suck, though?

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
