Im not gunna say MINIs are the most reliable car...because they are British after all, but they are fun as hell to drive and like James said the resale on them is amazing. I am trading in for an 05 and Im getting 16K for it and I have 25,000 miles on it.

I was looking at the Acura TSX as well... Any opinions on that?

It's an entirely different league than the Cobalt, so it's obviously nicer. If you want fast, the TSX is not, although it's very peppy. I don't like Acura very much, I would suggest the Subaru Legacy over the TSX. It's better in most ways, but not all. The TSX has an interior with more character, but besides that.

I think I've found what I want from a car: the Audi A3

The 2006 Audi TT also looks far better than the old. It'll be nice when it hits the roads:
