Damian you are obviously taking my statements way too seriously, that was a blanket and slightly sarcastic statement.
The pledge says "under God", yes. Is it endorsing a religion? No. It is endorsing religion, something this country was founded on. It is not forcing anyone to be any religion, there is no hidden "CHRISTIANITY RULZ" message, quit being so fucking hypersensitive. Kids have said it for 60 years and no one has been forced to convert because of it. If you don't wanna say it, don't say it. At least say the rest of the pledge and omit "under God" if your hypersensitive, cry-baby self can't handle it.
And I'm sure no one was holding a knife to her throat to say it, don't just believe whatever the guy says to make his frivolous lawsuit seem more relevent. If in fact someone WAS holding a knife to her throat, then the court should have made it a choice whether or not to say the pledge, not completely banned it because a minority of the population feels it "may offend Atheists" who are usually arrogant bastards anyway.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.
