yeah, religion always seems to engage some kind of super-human brain function that allows believers to have a higher conciousness.
The exact opposite can be true as well- absolute faith can cloud judgement and followers don't have a clue. Thats why (Jebeebus) is referred to as the shephard and his followers are his flock.
Hitler, Stalin, Musolini and Suddam Hussein operated in the same capacity- to terrorise their followers to the point that they followed blindly, lest they suffer a terrible fate.
How is condemnation to hell any different- to many people that is a fate far worse than death itself. Hitler could only promise a torturous demise to those that opposed him, not impose eternal damnation.
Obey the laws of God, and follow Jesus or else.
