That 40 minute battle scene ended abruptly. All the sudden we switch to a scene of this guy raising his sword yelling "victory" and then we go back to the Ents. ... you can tell they were running out of time with this installment, especially since they ended the movie about 6 chapters short of the book's ending.

yeah, but my question is how that happened when they made all three movies at once?!? I guess they just want to add suspence so people will see the third one
