what paul said reminded me of something i saw at a protest last week that made me really happy. it went a little something like this:
construction workers sign: WE SUPPORT THE WAR ON IRAQ
kids sign: "I do not say that children at war do not die like men, but they are murdered children all the same"
construction workers: get back to school kids
kids: do you have to go?
construction workers: to school!? haha no, we already did that, run along
kids: you are treating us like children
construction workers: you are children
kids: then why are you making us die?
construction workers: well, uh..
kids: put your fucking sign down
construction workers: ok
they werent really kids, they were about 17 or 18 but they are the ones that are gonna have to fight the war, its easy for other people to support the war when they dont have to worry about being sent away. i've been to a couple protests just to check em out, i dont really have an opionion other than i think bush is an idiot 90% of the time. just thought i would share that with you.
