Half-Life 2

LEAK.

LEAK is not the same as commercial use. Keep that in mind.

The fact is that Futuremark doesn't use the Doom3 engine. Name one single piece of evidence that states that Futuremark ever used the Doom 3 engine.

And the Doom 3 alpha performs very differently than the Futuremark demo.

And some people suspected that ATI, not NVIDIA, had the leak.

So if it isn't the doom 3 engine, then please tell me where they got the technology to do the EXACT same thing that the doom 3 engine does, including physics, lighting, and real time shadows.

Why do all you people have to think that you are always right? The difference between us is that you THINK that you're right, and I KNOW that I'm right.

Physics? It's a demo, it has no physics.

Lighting, real-time shadows? Er... it's a pixel shader demo, thus it uses pixel shaders for shadows and lighting, which is what doom3 uses too. And no, it doesn't look "exactly the same".

Wow, they've implemented physics, lighting, AND realtime shadows? Wow, I haven't seen a game that has that since about half an hour ago!

In case you've been living in a hole for the last year or so, lots of games have that. Off the top of my head, have you played Splinter Cell? I know there's others, but it was just glaring there at me from my desktop.

With that kind of thinking, Tenebrae Quake HAS to be from the Doom III engine.

And I don't know what your babbling on about Doom III having no detail, have you even bothered to see the enemy models? Still more polies than HalfLife2, and the skins are a higher-resolution (at least that's what it seems like)

Don't be stupid, the alpha was to determine how the manufacturers (sp?) video card handle the alpha, NOT to implement in their benchmark products, etc.
holy internets batman.
