Ok, Im in the process. I donwnloaded a program to set up the proxy automatically. its a 30 day trial, but I figure it will work long enough for me to figure out how to do it manually.

everytime I start a proxy server, my net stops working. which address do I use? That IPCONFIG gave my Internets IP Adress (didnt work) and it also gave that generic one 192.168.1.0. Which one do I use?

EDIT: What I really need is step by step directions on how to go about doing this and where to look for all the info on the system. The Cards are working and they are connected to each other, but I cant get online, and I havent even started to think about File Sharing yet!

If the modem is going through the gateway, and there aren't any wired ports, then either the gateway or the PC can have internet at once, and you won't be able to share files or any of the stuff that makes WiFi adventageous.
