Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

*Sigh*.

Hydrogen atoms are very small, and yes, spread over 10 billion light years would make insignificant impact. Remember that the experiment had atoms neatly organised into a crystal structure.

Atoms rarely whizz around by themselves in space as they tend to clump in bunches due to gravity. Also, the effect only works on high intensity polarised laser light. So there.

I said the density of space earily, approximately 3 molecules per decimeter cubed!! BASICALLY NOTHING!!

And Moose, why do you think it's called dark matter??? BECAUSE LIGHT DOESN'T REACT WITH IT! Light does not HAVE to react with everything, if it did, we'd know all the particles of the universe.

You mentioned nebulae, well, that only matters if you look through it!

SPACE IS NOT COLD!! What is "cold"? It's what you feel when you pass your own heat to a substance of lesser molecular kinetic energy (temperature). When in space, in order to transfer that heat, you have to be in physical contact with something to do it, and because space is BASICALLY a vacuum, there's nothing to send it to, so space is temperatureless. The only "cold" you'd feel would be radiation you're emitting, which is a very slow process. You'd suffocate long before you feel cold. And to stop you from bringing up myths, no you're blood will not boil in space, no you will not explode in space, and no you will not freeze solid in space, the only thing that will happen is a lot of strain on your skin (but it will NOT break, but if you had a very large open cut, it may suck some blood out), and will suck the air out of your lungs and collapse them, and you will die in about 1-3 minutes.
