i wouldn't say that's the best death cab for cutie cd. check out earlier albums. like play these songs with these chords or... dang it i wish i was at my computer and i could tell you. either way transatlanticism i think has about 5 good songs, the rest just ho-hum. still though, death cab rules.

I agree, but Postal Service's latest album, Give Up, is almost non-stop goodness. And The Shins, Chutes too Narrow, is A material.

hmmm... postal service is good. yet, i seem to get tired of it quickly. if you like that kinda stuff check out metric. it's a girl fronted band, quite good. for the dancy side of things like the postal service, invest in some hot hot heat, or les savy fav. if you wanna grow up into some screamy dancy stuff, check out the red light sting. i think they're awesome. they have a girl who plays keyboards and she sounds like an asian school girl. definitly fun stuff.

I'm not too into girl fronted bands.

But check out the New Pornographers ("New Face" is particularly good). Their new album is supposed to be great. Not my favorite band, but they're decent. And Apples in Stereo is fun.

I'm more into The Notwist, Dismemberment Plan... But I'm an emo guy, really. Dashboard Confessional's "Bend and Not Break" is about my flagship title at the moment.

Chuck, if someone visits PM and looks at the avatars, they'll see mine and say "ok, so there's some music fans here" and then they'll look at yours and say "and we have some southern slack-jawed shotgun-tottin' yokels too...".

New Pornographers! Dashboard Confessional!! That proves your homosexuality James... What next? Are you going to say R.E.M. is hardcore?

I just got a new CD, Arch Enemy - Athems of Rebellion. So far it's fantastic, pure Scandinavian metal fronted with a female that claims she plays "the throat". You'll see what I mean when you hear it... The band is from Gothenburg, Sweden and the vocalist, Angela Gossow, is from Cologne, Germany. Here's .

Also, a new band to Roadrunner Records, DevilDriver. Listen to this song, .

Oh, and yesterday I got another $15 gift certificate to Newbury Comics.

I thought the Pornographers were going to be cool. Then I listened to them, and they sucked.

Warren, that's pretty cool. Though, to be honest, I like girls with pretty voices. This chick sounds like she might bite off whatever you put in her mouth. :(
