Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Locke's writings didn't inspire the revolution, it inspired Jefferson when he was writing the constitution.

Or perhaps when the Declaration of Independence was written? Oh, and it's amazing how that contains quotes from John Locke's Second Treatise. "No taxation without representation," being the big one that comes up off the top of my head immediately. What is that, Section 60 something in Locke's Second Treatise?

Yes, I forgot to meantion the declaration of independance.

I still don't think Locke inspired the revolution.

But Moose, by saying "he inspired the revolution," one would imply that he almost singlehandedly was the inspiration for the start of the Revolutionary War. This would be quite an exaggeration and also quite false. While I agree that his ideas were one piece of inspiration for the revolutionary ideas of intellectuals (eg Jefferson), you're in a battle of semantics and I see where Caesar is coming from.
The fates lead him who will;
Him who won't, they drag.
