Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Patriot Act, and the people trying to get it extended, the various Super DMCA laws that have even passed in some states already. The new ART prevention act (ironic name eh) which shows that the gov't is owned by the RIAA and MPAA.

The Patriot act is eventually going to be nullified by the supreme court.

It's horribly names too. So if you disagree with the patriot act your un-patriotic.

Me personally, I don't like Bush's agenda, but I like the way he does things, quickly, forcefully and without all that diplomatic crap.

Just like shooting down the DMCA was going to happen right away? The naming is intentional

Meh. I love guns myself, but since they are illegal in europe, you can't just buy one. You need a ton of permits, licenses, and a membership at a gun club to even be considered for a permit to have one at home.

All in all, I think it's a good thing. The only people who carry guns are police officers and drug dealers; not your average citizen. If you own a gun, you're more likely to use it. I think we can all agree that guns are dangerous, and the less guns there are in the world, the better.

Well, I see it this way: If all the guns were destroyed in the world and everyone convieniently forgot how to make them, we'd go back to swords and arrows. Take those away, it'll be rocks and branches. Even take those away, it will become teeth and fists. No matter what, man will find a way to wage war. At least in a war with guns most people dont have to suffer because a shot from a 7.62 will pretty much destroy all in its way. Swords killed, yes, but it was much more brutal and painful. Arrow wounds, if they survived them, rarely closed up. My point is, even without guns there will still be war.

I do agree that in a country where at least 83% of the population is drunk (or passed out) at any given time (the UK), guns should be heavily restricted.

But getting rid of guns in the US is not going to lower homocide rate significantly. Crimes of passion will happen regardless, whether it be by gun, knife, or baseball bat. And as for calculated crimes, they'll happen regardless because humans are just good at killing one another.

If anything, the inavailability of guns encourages the criminal to resort to more effective methods (explosives). Shooting sprees rarely kill more than 10 people. Bombs, on the other hand, can kill thousands and are much harder to trace (meaning you can extend your bombing spree over a great deal of time).
