yep, louis armstrong is one of my faves, along with ellington. havent heard of coltrane though.

Coltrane is fantastic. Definitely check him out.

As far as some other music suggestions, I like Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Eric Clapton.
