20 episodes of Star Wars cartoons are to air this year and next on Cartoon Network. They are being created by Genndy Tartakovsky (creator of Samurai Jack) and will bridge the gap in events between the last Star Wars (Episode II - Clone Wars) and the future Episode III.

It's a shame it'll be a bunch of small 2-3 minute shorts. I would much rather prefer one large half hour (or hour) show. Still sounds very cool though.

This is friggin cool as hell. The Star Wars universe drawn in the artistic style of Samuri Jack and Dexters Lab.
I don't know about a full 30 minutes. 2-3 minutes sounds exciting and your almost guaranteed that short segment won't be boring "filler". It will certainly make me anticipate each mini-episode.
PLUS, these short segments would be perfect for PocketPC demos!
I already mentioned this to Dan: I don't recognise the chick in the upper left corner of the webpage- Shania Twain with a lightsaber?

what i thought they could do i a few minutes every so often as newsflash war reports from the frontline or something. i suppose that would be shit though.
oh randall, i think thats like luke's kid or something, jade is it? his kid or his new wife... its from the expanded universe anyways.

No, Beverly Crusher just wanted to cross over to the Star Wars universe.
It does sound pretty neat. S. Jack and Dexter are both some of my favorite cartoons.
