This is nothing new Warren. The french government has always been known for being yellow bellied. Face it, the french in general are weenies. There slogan is, "if the enemy is not threatening us, then we will leave them alone, if they are threatening us, then we will hand over our country to them."

Antiwar is one thing, but playing sides is another. The French just don't want to go to war with Iraq, because they trade with Saddam. If Saddam took over most of Europe and France was it's next target, the french would hand over their country rather than fight for freedom. They have did it many times in the past.

going to war without the french is like going deer hunting without my accordian... I also think the Freedom Fries thing is stupid, and I hope it doesnt stay that way. I will forever call the m French Fries. I am not pro war at all, but i am also not going to go out and demonstrate against it. Bush is going to be a 1 term president regardless, and I for one cant wait till he is gone. Environmentally, he has set us back 20 years. Economically, he has screwed us over with his tax cuts, and now he wants to spend another $100 billion (latest estimate) on going to war with iraq. I dont think france should support us all the way of voting for the current resolution, but i think they should at least abstain. Regardless, it is going to be shot down by Russia. Also, the UK is floundering, which is very bad for blair but good for those who dont want to go to war.
