Postby NYIllustrator » Mar 24, 2003 @ 5:06pm

Well my dog certainly doesn't recognize voice commands, let alone 75 of them.

Well I wouldn't know as I've never owned one, but I'd expect it to be less like a dog and more just like a pet robot. A cuddly, brightly colored robot.

I played around with one when I went down to Disney World for the family vacation, and, personally, I believe you would be better off with a new state-of-the art computer. Of course your computer can't chase a ball, roll over, or walk around the house, but I believe it'll do a lot more for you in the long run.

I can make my computer roll over just as easily as those glorified mechanics make that plastic shell "roll over."

One question: Why?

The entire point of having a dog is the love and care, and the emotions that the dog puts back. All you'd have is a hunk of metal making motions.

I'm a huge dog person keep in mind.

get a furby and teach it naughty words, it will be a lot cheaper and more entertaining then buying an Aibo dog.

Hehe, search for Furby Prank Call on Kazaa, it's a prank call to a department store's toy department. It's prolly one of the funniest that I've heard so far.
