Hi. I'm currently running a server (located in a cabinet in my desk, custom built from other computer parts... it has Windows 98 on it, and I was wondering if I could host a decent web/SQL server off of it. Otherwise I will use Knopix linux on it. What do you guys recommend?[/i]

Your PC has less than a 20MB hard drive?

Running a server off a CD seems kinda bad to me ;) If you intend to use the machine as a server, why don't you just wipe out that Win98 and install a linux distro over it?
Or if you don't feel like messin' with linux, at least buy Win2k, XP or Win2k3 for it. Sure you can run a webserver on 98 too, but it's not recommended. You might even get a fine uptime on 98 if you only install the webserver/SQL and nothing else so you don't clutter the machine up.
