The main problem they're having is that they only have 32mb of RAM on each console. The on it said that they were doing it as its cheaper than building a supercomputer from desktops.

And this is supposed to be significant because? Who here wants to use a PS2 for super computing? The PS2 is difficult to program and has worse specs compared to the XBox for gaming.
