The Power Mac G5 has finally arrived and it is a TRUE 64-bit processor!

*1 ghz bus...beat that!
*64-bit processor
*DDR400...nothing new, but a great addition nonetheless
*Geforce FX or Radeon video card
*160 GB hard drive
*AGP 8x...nothing new, but great addition
*PCI-X...latest PCI slot technology
*Dual 2 ghz!!!
*SuperDrive...something all macs must have

The G4 was behind before, up against the Pentium 4 3.06 ghz, 800 mhz bus, hyperthreading, and other processors still beat it, but the G5 blows away the competition now. The only problem is, with the G5 already released, Intel and AMD may release something mindblowing themselves...

it's too bad that Intel p4 and AMD still both beat it, and at half the cost.
