I don't know why I find it so funny. I have a serious question though- what software did they use to do the clones and edited versions? I'd like to get my hands on that software if price !> $300.

I hadn't seen the clone version, thanks for the link. I don't know what they used though.

Heck, all you need is an empty room and a can of paint. If you hire a few studio lights (1000W codas should give a white, even light and if you reflect them off other walls, you'll be fine. There's an eyedropper tool that lets you choose your "blue screen" colour.

Yes, I had that in mind. I was going to buy huge green poster boards and do something with them. What I meant with that "blue screen effect w/out a blue screen" statement was: with the star wars kid vid, they were able to do things so it looked like a bs-effect but only using the original source. Ahh just watch the original vid and then the clones vid, you'll see what I mean.

What they dod was set the background and then put the other video as the background or the first.

No, nobody had a blue screen when they shot this video. Trae, how did they edit it so only the guy was placed on top of the other vid? What software did they use?

My guess is Adobe Premiere.
