You still haven't given any valid argument against Trillian. What is your real problem with it? I seem to like the fact that it does mulitple chatting systems (all of which are used by my various associates), doesn't have ads, and isn't made by the spawn of satan, aka AOL.

It's an excessive piece of software which begs for your donations at every turn, and while it does all the protocols, it does none of them well, often choking on AIM's HTML messages, who's skinning takes up far too much RAM for an IM'ing client, and generally has a very clunky interface that's not quite as solid as Miranda, GAIM, AIM4.8, etc.

I have a gig of fast ram so I have never had a problem with it. I also see what the problem is if you *cough* payed for it and all.
