Hey guys, I just got a new-gen ipod, and it really rocks. Anyways, I would like to know is there any free program that allows me to rip music from the cd's, and automatically convert to mp3 format? I know windows media player can do this, but it costs money to buy the plugin.

CDex comes highly recommended, from me.

Freeware, VERY popular, does all the major formats, freeCDDB support, absolutely everything. I cannot recommend it enough. Open-source too.
