Expand on the normal game. That would give longer gameplay. Make it easier on yourself. And I haven't played metroid yet .

Add matrix like abilities for Samus (I think that's her name?). Hehe.

Speaking of her, for years when I was a kid, I thought the main character in the metroid series was a robot or man in a suit. I was shocked when I read a Metroid comic in Nintendo Power, that showed she was a woman (a sexy one at that, too ).

If you beat Metroid you would know Samus was female and all...
