Is this the official page? I've been following this from the forum thread. If I were SF, I would've just said fuck it and drop the project the way everyone was acting there.

All the cheapskates out there that want to test this:
If you rent an xbox from blockbuster/whatever, don't use the 007 exploit if you don't have broadband. Most likely the box is older, and doesn't have the most recent dash. Instead, use the MechAssault hack. It will automatically update the dash, and make the exploit work, thus getting Halo for a fraction of the normal cost. That's only if you're a cheapskate or don't have $300 to blow on an xbox/games/modchip.
