No, I cant believe, my LG CRT 17´ screen has a dead pixel. I dont know how this happen, it just died some days ago. It´s the "forum curse", I´m telling you - ppl with crashed PPCs, crashed PCs (Chick), and now it happened with me.- I HAVE A DEAD PIXEL!<br><br>...and I´m bored.<br>

Pfft... I have a dead pixel on my monitor as well.<br><br>After a while, it don't botha you at all.<br><br>Make sure to note where it is however, it can play tricks on you in photoshop.<br><br>Other than that, the glow from the pixels around it hide it pretty well, especially in games.<br><br>Oh and yea, me=cheap when it comes to repairs. If I can't fix it myself, I'll learn to live with whatever is wrong (if it's not on warranty that is).<br>

i didnt realise monitors could get bad pixels, i thought that was a tft problem

It´s on warranty, but I´m not going to ask for a new one because I have 1 bad pixel... That would be insane. I thought it was a tft problem only too, but, bah, now I will need to learn to live with it. <br><br>A bad pixel and a deep scratch, bah, what a great monitor....

PS: the scratch was my fault. (something related with sand in a cleaning cloth)

Yeah, is that an LCD screen? A dead pixel is better than a stuck pixel. Like a blaring red one...
