According to my expensive Ti83+...

-3 squared = -9

WTF is wrong with these calculators? I tried it on two other Ti83+ SE calculators and they also had the same problem. Do any of you know a fix for it?

try (-3)^2. It thinks you want to square 3 and then make it negative, not square -3.

I think there should be a TI-83 with built in paper to electronic ink that does the problems for you without you doing the work! And instataniuosly puts it on your e740SP! :P
