If you're looking for books to read, I cannot suggest Chuch Pahlianuk (sp?) highly enough. He's the guy who wrote Fight Club. Plus, his books are really fast reads. You should definitely check out Choke, then Invisible Monsters, then Savior. I have yet to read his others, but am looking forward to it.

Otherwise, at the moment I'm reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel. It's very simply written but it's pretty profound. It's about a boy who practices Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism at once, and it won the Man Booker Prize
